Originally built in the 1880’s, local legend claims former residents frequently held séances and Ouija board sessions, which opened the door to spiritual activity. Television sets have been known to turn off and on by themselves. When a visiting friend was disrespecting her mother, an known spirit smacked the young lady so hard against her head that she had to be taken to the hospital. In the large closet upstairs, there have been reports of the spirits of two boys, believed to be named Bobby and Andrew. There was an occurrence where an unknown spirit who appeared as a hooded figure, was seen moving a wardrobe at night after all the furniture in that room had been rearranged earlier in the day. There have also been reports of doors which open and close by themselves, sudden temperature drops, heavy unembodied footsteps upstairs, and a hard that plays itself.
